Society and Politics
The Museumspark tells the story of a very long period of social change and modernization, of industrialization and reconstruction, but also of the two World Wars and forced labor. On our tours through the park and by visiting our exhibitions, you will learn more about the various political systems since the Prussian era and the German Empire, the Weimar period, the Nazi era, the Soviet occupation zone, and finally the formative GDR era. The history of reunification and privatization can also be traced through practical examples in the history of Rüdersdorf's industrial landscape. Those interested in learning more about globalization and environmental history are also in the right place in Rüdersdorf.
Find out more on site – for example on a historical tour or in our exhibitions .
